Moving Forward

2015 was another fantastic year for my business. I only participated in 2 regional shows located Seattle and Portland which resulted in a near sell-out. I have one painting available which will be sent to a local gallery in the coming weeks.

As I move forward to 2016 and beyond I realize that it is time for a big change in my professional and personal life. I have been doing outdoor art festivals for almost 12 years. Art shows give me the opportunity to meet with my clients and it has been wonderful for me to associate my paintings in their new environment with my art collectors.  Instead of participating in large fine art festivals in the coming year, I will be creating custom pieces for clients and shift my focus toward juried regional plein air events and national art competitions.

In addition to painting, I am spending more time working with local charities. I have been helping the Idaho Humane Society for several years and and have currently been editing photos for their website  for the majority of 2015.  My personal goal is to obtain a Therapy Dog Certification for my Bernese Mountain Dog later this year so we can bring joy to people in hospitals, special needs centers and nursing homes.
