New Website Coming Soon!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I will have a new website up and running in the next few weeks. I have temporarily directed all my website traffic here to my existing blog. My website at www.sherricarterfineart.com will be the same, but I have transferred this name to a new host server which will take some time to process.

Valentine for Aids Benefit

It's that time of year again for the Valentine For Aids Silent Art Auction at Flying M Coffeehouse in Boise, Idaho. The show runs February 5-15, 2015 at 500 W. Idaho Street in downtown Boise.

Studio Tour

Attached is a studio tour of pieces in progress for my 2015 collection. The video shows my process as my first layer is a sepia wash to create my composition.

Holiday Art Show

I will have several small paintings on display in the Gallery at Finer Frames at 164 E. State Street Suite B in Eagle Idaho. Paintings will be part of a group Holiday Art Show from November 17, 2014 through January 31, 2015.

Reception will be Wednesday, November 19 from 5-8pm.

Boise First Thursday Art Walk

Please join me for Downtown Boise's First Thursday Art Walk September 4 from 5-9pm. I will be showing a selection of paintings at Mixed Greens 237 N 9th Street between Idaho and Bannock.

Molly Gray is the owner of Mixed Greens and makes wonderful bath and body products. Molly opened her store last year featuring her products along with jewelry, accessories, paper products and a selection of home and garden treasures.
